In April, I (Naomi) had the absolute privilege of being on the support team for the CEF Regional Conference. It was a week of renewal, sharing our successes with others in the region, and gaining wisdom from fellow workers in ministry. It was also a time of renewed zeal from our president, Jeremiah Cho and our regional director, Beltane Harrigan.

Caleb, the a new pastor at First Baptist Church in Selma, was able to restart a Good News Club in Craig Elementary this fall semester! He was so excited with his fellow teacher volunteers to share the GREAT Good News with these children again- and the principal welcomed them with open arms! We are so blessed with school involvement with clubs in Dallas County!

Ashley Brown, one of our Christian Youth In Action teens returning this past summer, had a girl at a 5 day club remember her from last year! They were able to talk about Jesus more because the little girl was so very inquisitive about everything. Seeing their friendship, the connection and growth, made this heart so proud of our youth!

We talked about this at the Annual Benefit Banquet in November, but a dear child named Amelia has been attending GNC for two years. We received this message from our dedicated GNC teacher Janice Weekley, “Good News! We had a little girl get saved in club today. This is her second year with us and she has talked to almost every volunteer over time with random questions, some way out there and some intelligent and legitimate ones. She is very bright and has questioned who Jesus was, why he came, if the Bible is true, etc. We have all been praying for Amelia and God to help her see her need for Jesus as her Savior and today… SHE DID!! For weeks she has not been able to trust in Him and believe in her need for him, but her sweet face told me today that she was ready. We rejoiced in club as she told everyone what she had done! God is so very good!!”
